Questions

Are you attorneys?
No. We are certified paralegals. We prepare documents, explain processes and help you organize a matter, but we cannot represent you in court or give legal advice. Where the law requires it, we work under a licensed attorney's supervision.
What can a paralegal help me with?
Document preparation, contract review, court-form completion, organizing exhibits and summarizing legal documents in plain English. The NALA Certified Paralegal (CP) designation requires passing a competency exam and 50 hours of continuing legal education every 5 years.
Will hiring a paralegal cost less than a lawyer?
For straightforward document and process work, usually. For litigation, legal advice or court representation you need an attorney. We tell you which side of that line you are on at the consultation.
Can a paralegal help with small claims court forms in Pennsylvania?
Yes. Magisterial District Court filings are procedural forms a certified paralegal can help you complete: the complaint, service information and exhibits. We cannot appear in court for you or give legal advice.
What does a paralegal consultation include?
A 15 to 30 minute phone or video call about your contract, document, court form or process. You leave knowing your next step and whether any part of it needs an attorney.
Do you meet in person or online?
Both. We meet in person in Philadelphia and Montgomery, Delaware, Chester and Bucks counties, and by video or phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How fast do you respond?
We confirm bookings within the hour, day or night. For something due tomorrow, call (215) 690-1366.
What does it cost?
It depends on the matter. Pricing is discussed before you commit.
