Terms of Service

Paralegals 24/7 provides paralegal support, and Amax Elite Seals provides Pennsylvania notary services. These terms cover what we do, what we need from you, and where document support ends and legal representation begins.

Last updated September 10, 2026

Important limits

Paralegals 24/7 is not a law firm, and no one on the team is an attorney licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. We do not give legal advice, choose legal strategies, represent clients in court, or create an attorney–client relationship. A Pennsylvania notary commission does not authorize drafting legal records, legal advice or the practice of law. See 57 Pa.C.S. § 325.

Paralegal work is administrative and document support. We cannot give legal advice, legal judgment, negotiation or court representation. If your matter needs any of those, we will tell you to consult a licensed attorney. No website page, message, appointment or payment creates an attorney–client relationship.

Services

Services may include paralegal document and process support, mobile and remote notarization, acknowledgments, oaths and affirmations, apostille coordination and loan-signing support. The exact service, deliverables, location, timing and price are confirmed before work begins. A request is not accepted until we confirm it.

Notary services

A notary verifies identity, willingness and the notarial act requested under the Pennsylvania notarial-acts framework (57 Pa.C.S. §§ 304–305). A notary does not decide whether a document suits your situation or protects your interests. Pennsylvania law requires personal appearance for a notarial act, subject to the separate remote-notarization rules in 57 Pa.C.S. § 306.1.

Bring the complete document with every required page, and do not sign until instructed. The notary may refuse an act when identity, capacity, willingness or signature requirements are not met (57 Pa.C.S. §§ 307–308).

Acceptable identity evidence generally means personal knowledge, a current passport, driver's license or government-issued nondriver ID, another satisfactory government ID, or a qualifying credible witness. Additional identification may be requested (57 Pa.C.S. § 307).

Remote online notarization

Remote online notarization is available when the notary, the signer, the document, identity proofing, the technology and the receiving organization all meet applicable requirements. Pennsylvania law requires audio-video recording kept for at least 10 years, identity verification, notice to the Department of State, simultaneous sight and sound, two identity-proofing processes and an approved provider (57 Pa.C.S. § 306.1 and 4 Pa. Code § 167.86).

Fees and payment

The total price, including any travel, technology, rush or apostille charge, is provided before payment is requested. Pennsylvania notarial fees stay within the Department of State's fee schedule, and notarial fees are separately stated with an itemized receipt (4 Pa. Code § 167.3 and 57 Pa.C.S. § 329.1).

Appointments, cancellations and no-shows

Give accurate scheduling information, be ready at the confirmed location or online session, and give reasonable notice to cancel or reschedule. A notary may be unable to proceed when a signer is absent, lacks acceptable identification, or is not able or willing to sign. Cancellation, no-show, rescheduling and refund rules: [CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW POLICY AND REFUND WINDOW TO BE CONFIRMED]

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information and documents you provide, confirming what the receiving person or organization requires, supplying valid ID, and getting legal advice when you need it. Filing, recording, mailing, deadlines and decisions about your matter remain yours unless a written service confirmation says otherwise.

Confidentiality and required disclosures

We use reasonable care with your information and documents and share them only with people you authorize, service providers needed to do the work, or as the law requires. Confidentiality does not create an attorney–client relationship. A notary must keep a journal of notarial acts, including identity and fee information, and remote notarization requires keeping the audio-video recording (57 Pa.C.S. § 319 and § 306.1).

Results and liability

Document support and notarization do not guarantee acceptance, approval, recording, immigration results, loan closing, court results or any other outcome. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paralegals 24/7 is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages arising from a service or a client's reliance on a document. This does not waive responsibility that cannot lawfully be waived. An attorney should review this clause before publication.

Client indemnification

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend and reimburse Paralegals 24/7 for third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from inaccurate information, unlawful instructions or your misuse of a completed document. This does not cover losses caused by our own conduct where the law prevents that allocation.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding will be brought in the state or federal courts serving the county where the business keeps its registered office, subject to any mandatory law that says otherwise. [ARBITRATION PROVIDER AND ANY ARBITRATION TERMS TO BE CONFIRMED OR REMOVED BY COUNSEL]

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new date. The version in effect when we confirm your service controls that service unless we agree otherwise in writing.
